I've been tagged! (a couple times)

For all of you who really want to know 25 random things that are interesting about me here we go:

1. I love eating ice cream. Even when I am on a diet I can't stop.
2. I hate being cold. I am not an outside winter person.
3. I love my new fireplace. For the same reason as # 2
4. When I was a kid I used to run home and sit by the heat vent with a blanket just to get rid of the cold I had felt for the entire day.
5. I have 3 brothers. I love them very much and they were great protectors of their only sister.
6. I love meeting new people.
7. I am very outgoing and really don't care what people think of me. I am HAPPY.
8. I love my calling in church: RS teacher
9. I studied communications in college, and loved my public speaking class.
10. Nothing really intimidates me.
11. I love new challeges in life that push me to be a stronger person.
12. I love to watch the Biggest Loser, it inspires me to work hard at being healthy.
13. My family is number 1
14. My girls make me laugh everyday.
15. I hate being sick! Who doesn't?
16. I love to try new things.
17. I don't always finish projects that I start. This is a weakness.
18. I love running. I feel so free.
19. I am planning on running in the Ogden half marathon in May. Wish me luck
20. I love movies that make me cry.
21. I LOVE being a mom.
22. I am not a great cook, but I try, and my family tries to like it. haha!
23. I would love to learn to play the piano.
24. I like talking on the phone with my friends. Email just isn't the same.

Excellence in Reading

Mikaela was just awarded her Climbing Higher certificate for excellence in reading. During a brief presentation on Wednesday she was awarded this recognition by the principal of the school. On Friday the ceremony was watched over the schools video system. Mikaela loves to read and we are very proud of her continued success in the first grade. Great Job Kaelabear!

Neglecting my Blog

I know I have been neglecting my blog. I still enjoy blogging but have recently found a new love...Facebook. I have had conversations with friends that I haven't seen in 15 plus years. I thought that these friends were gone forever. I have had a great time networking on facebook with all these long lost friends. And some of my friends are just around the block it is great. So for all you faithful readers of my blog I apologize. I will try my best to juggle them both. I have so many interesting tidbits to blog about. I just hope I can get around to it.
